Mr. Trout has been photographically inclined since before digital and still approaches a photo through the viewfinder, rather than the photo-editing software. The majority of the time cropping is done using his patented technique 'where I stand in relation to the subject & how I hold my camera' (tm).
When asked 'what kind of photography' he does, KT usually hums & haws and settles on 'observational satire influenced by too much rock & roll'. Preferring lucky accident to the contrived, situations are never altered or 'set up' in order to 'make a point'. The world does this well enough on it's own. KT just documents it. More than anything, he seeks truth and giggles.
